The aim of the Midsomer Norton Community Trust is to encourage a vibrant local community. We therefore aim to provide spaces for the whole community whether to individuals, community groups or businesses.
Working with our partner community groups we can offer a space for hire suitable for a one-to-one interview right up to a large meeting for 150 people. We offer rooms for regular community groups or one-off bookings for parties as well as green spaces such as the Hollies Gardens.
Town Hall: A wonderful Italianate Gothic Town Hall built in the 1860, this building has a large upper hall with lift and stair access, two meeting rooms for 30 and several smaller meeting rooms – all with access to kitchen facilities. Located on the High Street this building offers facilities at the heart of the community with plenty of parking nearby.
For more details on the Town Hall click here.Orchard Hall: Situated just outside the town centre, with its own car park and offers a versatile space in the form of a large groundfloor hall with a newly refurbished kitchen. Ideal of childrens parties, meetings requiring seating up to 200 the large sprung dance floor also provides an excellent activity space.

Preparing for an outdoor film screening in the Garden of Friendship
Negotiations are currently in hand at the Town Council to acquire more green spaces for the town.
Town Park: A glorious new space maintained by the Town Trust, the Town Park offers a large outdoor venue for events, activities and – in its fabulous amphitheatre – performances.
Garden of Friendship: This space will be available shortly for hire for community groups and activities. It has already been home to some of our popular community events such as Wassailing and the Outdoor Cinema.
